The Eastman Selects just keep rolling! After 3 rough road games with a lot of miles on the bus the boys returned home on Saturday and hosted the Pembina Valley Hawks. The game was played close until half way through the second period when the Selects broke the game open and never looked back. The Selects entered the third with a 3-1 lead and scored 2 more in the final frame to put the game away and left the building with a 5-1 victory! Goal scorers for the Selects were Brad Goethals (2) Devon Skoleski, Brett Davis, Braeden Binda.

On Sunday the Selects were in tough against a good skating team from Parkland. The Rangers played a strong road against the boys from Eastman and gave them everything they could handle for 2 periods. The game was tied at 3 after 2 periods and it looked like the Selects may be in trouble of dropping their game in 6 tries but the boys came out strong in the third scoring 3 times and tightening up on defence to secure their 6th straight victory! Goal scorers on Sunday were Will Middleton (2), Devon Skoleski, Brad Goethals, Matt Leblanc, and Drew Draward!

Next up for the Selects is another road trip to visit Parkland on Saturday and then off to play the Yellowhead Chiefs on Sunday for the first meeting of the season between the two teams.
