The Eastman Selects have once again put together a nice little winning streak heading into Friday nights game against the first place Winnipeg wild!

The selects defeated the Interlake lightning last night 4-1 in a somewhat sloppy affair, both teams providing plenty of offensive opportunities for their opponents. The Selects managed to capitalize on a few more opportunities and goaltender Landon Poiron played real strong, giving the team a 3 game winning streak heading into Fridays contest.

Goal scorers for the selects were captain Kelby Picard who has seamed to find his scoring touch of late, Brad Goethals, Devon Skoleski, and Matt Leblanc.

The Selects will practice Thursday to get prepared for the Wild on Friday, for a match up that I am sure will be fast paced and hard hitting. The two teams have split the 2 previous contests and they match well in all areas of the game. Should be a great night at the Ice Plex!
