The Eastman Selects finished the year with a split out west! The team travelled to Neepawa and Souris on the weekend for the last 2 games before the Christmas break!

On Friday night in Neepawa the Selects looked like they had a case of "bus legs" losing 4-2 to the Yellowhead Chiefs. The game lacked the typical Selects speed and the team wasn’t able to create enough offensive pressure to pull out a victory. Will Middleton and Kelby Picard scored for the Selects in the loss.

The Selects responded the next day in Souris with a 5-1 victory over the Southwest Cougars! The team was able to find the energy on Saturday after a long day at the hotel to finish off 2014 with a convincing victory. Will Middleton, Brad Goethals, Devon Skoleski, Waylon Petkau and Dane Hirst ( 1st year as a Select ) all scored in the contest.  The Selects go into the Christmas break with a 20-9 record good for second place. The Selects had a very busy schedule to start the season and the Christmas break is coming at a good time. With only 15 games left before playoffs the Selects are in a good position heading into the last half of the season!
