Friday Jan 23, the 23-11 Winnipeg Thrashers make their final appearance in Westman.
The Cougars had their claws in the Wheat Kings on Wednesday night in Brandon and were up 3-1 in the second only to have Brandon come back and tie the score and then win it early in the third skating away with a 5-3 win.
The Thrashers have won 2 of 3 in regular season, with the Cougars knocking them off 4-2 in Deloraine back in December. The Thrashers stopped the Cougars 4-0 on the 10th of January at Gateway. The Thrashers are fighting to stay in the top 4 while the Cougars are just trying to win their next game with hopes of a playoff run fading with each loss.
The tickets for a weekend for 2 in Calgary to see the Flames play Columbus on March 22, is an all expense paid weekend with $600 spending money.  Be sure to talk to any Cougar players or parents about getting your ticket!  Draw will be made Feb 28.
