The Eastman Selects travelled west to Brandon and Dauphin this past weekend on their last road trip of the regular season. To say it was unsuccessful is an understatement, the selects dropped both games moving them down to 4th place in the standings 6 points ahead of the 5th place Rangers!

Saturday night in Brandon the Selects ran into a hot goalie, the Selects pumped 49 shots at the Brandon net minder but still came up short. The Selects penalty kill let them down as well giving up 3 power play goals in the loss. The next day in Dauphin, the Selects spotted the Rangers a 3 goal lead 8 minutes into the game. The boys battled back to get the game to 3-2 after the second period but just couldn't muster enough offence in the third to pull even. The Rangers scored midway through the third, and sent the Selects home with a 5-2 loss and a 4th straight defeat!

The Selects next action is Saturday night in Tuelon against the Interlake Lightning and then home at 2:00 in the afternoon Sunday against the Kenora Thistles!
